Christmas Traditions

Traditions....every family has them, but what makes yours unique? God instituted some of His own "traditions" in the Old Testament to help the Israelites remember Him. Maybe that's what our traditions ought to do...help us remember God, His promises, His Son. So how do you make traditions for your family and how do they point to God? I would love to hear your ideas on this!

One thing that we have decided to do this Christmas (to help the focus not be on material things) is to not put any presents under the tree until Christmas morning. That way as we talk to Mia about Christmas, it's all about the nativity, the story of Christ's birth, etc., and not about the presents under the tree.
