Out of the Mouth of Babes

It is always incredible to listen to what Mia is talking, or singing, about. She just says whatever she is thinking about, and it is so revealing! Out of the mouth of babes......

So she and Joe are playing hide-n-seek in the house, one of her favorite games. Mia always hides in the same place though, under her bed covers. So Joe suggests to her that she tries a different hiding spot, but she insists on her original hiding spot. I whisper in her ear, "Hey Mia, why don't you hide behind the sofa this time?" And out of her mouth comes the truthfully honest reply, "No Mommy, then Daddy might lost me!" That's why she always hides in the same spot, she doesn't want her parents to misplace her! In her small universe this is a very real and serious issue....Mommy and Daddy might lose me if I hide in a new place! I wonder if that is how we are with God sometimes....He might not know what I need or want if I don't tell Him, He might not answer my prayers right, He might not be fast enough, I better help Him out a little.
