Well, Joe's first week at seminary has come and gone. He is so excited about all that he is learning.....including Greek! Now when I say "It's all Greek to me" it will actually be true! I quiz him on his new language skills at night and am so impressed with how quickly he is learning all this. I am learning new things too, like dipthongs and vowel types.....very interesting. I have begun to read one of his seminary books by Charles Swindoll called The Grace Awakening (anyways I think that is the right title), it is really convicting.
While Joe is in the office studying his seminary books and Greek alphabet, Mia is making ice-cream and cookies with her play-dough, or cooking in her play kitchen. Last night she went to her play kitchen and started "cooking" and told me she was making "chicken, grapes, yogurt".....ewww!
Please pray that God will bring opportunities for me to reach out to our new neighbors and build relationships with them. That is my goal for this semester, but it seems to be a lot harder than it sounds. We'd love to hear from you, email us soon!
